NEW DELHI: Cavalry (Red) trounced Delhi Polo Club by 13 goals to five and a half in a pool `A' league match of the Sawai Man Singh Gold Vase polo tournament at the Army Equestrian Centre here on Thursday. Navjit Sandhu led the scoring spree for Cavalry (Red) with seven goals while Maj. Ravi Rathore scored five. Col J. S. Virk scored the other goal. For DPC, which started with a handicap advantage of three and a half goals, Ramesh Kumar and Jasmail Singh were the scorers. In pool `B', Kingfisher First beat RVC by 11 goals to three and a half. Basheer Ali (7), Hamza Ali (3) and Maj. Adhiraj Singh were the scorers for the winning team while RVC, which started with a two and a half goal handicap advantage, struck through Capt. Jaideep Singh. Sixt Polo beat Adam by 10 goals to three and a half in a pool `C' match. Sanjay Kapur (2), Rakshit Agnihotri (3), Vishal Singh (2) and Abhimanyu Pathak (3) were the Sixt Polo marksmen. Adam's lone goal came from Mickey Gupta. The loser had a two-and-a-half-goal advantage on handicap. Special Correspondent
