Six wards left to its electoral ally Communist Party of India

VISAKHAPATNAM: Leaving six wards to its ally CPI and keeping nominees for six in pending, the Congress on Thursday released a list of 60 names for the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation elections and is ahead of the other parties. The release of the list came after two rounds of hectic talks in Hyderabad with party top leaders.

While the TDP released a list of 24 nominees on the day, the BJP released a list containing 22 names. The CPI has already named eight candidates.

The following is the list of candidates, released in Hyderabad:
