NUALS releases journal

KOCHI: The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) released a journal at a function here on Wednesday.

K.S. Radhakrishnan, acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court, released the journal by handing over a copy to a student at the university.

Mr. Radhakrishnan spoke about the role of academicians in the development of law.

He said that the law journal was a proper tool in the hands of a legal institution, where original thinking should be promoted.

S.G. Bhat, Vice-Chancellor of the University, welcomed the gathering and N.K. Jayakumar, Secretary to the Kerala Legislative Assembly, presided over the function.

Mr. Jayakumar said there was a dearth of academicians in the field of law and exhorted students to make their contributions to society in this specialised field.
