NEW DELHI: Three persons including two Nigerian nationals were arrested outside Dwarka Metro station by the Special Cell of the Delhi police on Wednesday. The police claim to have recovered 2.10 kg of heroin of Afghanistan origin from them. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Alok Kumar, the Special Cell received information about an international drug cartel involving Nigerian nationals and some residents of Punjab. Acting on a tip-off that a heroin consignment would change hands outside Dwarka station, a team led by Inspector Devendra Singh laid a trap and arrested the three accused. During interrogation, they identified themselves as Hector and Majeed, both from Lagos in Nigeria, and Jang Bahadur, of Patiala. The police recovered from them a parcel containing the drugs. The parcel had "Pak Afghan Factory" printed on it.
