BJP MLA to undertake `padayatra'

HYDERABAD:
G. Kishan Reddy, BJP MLA, will undertake a week-long `padayatra' from Chilkanagar (Uppal mandal) in Ranga Reddy district to the Assembly from February 5 demanding withdrawal of kerosene quota cut, prompt LPG supply and a check on rising prices.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said that he would walk through Ramanthapur, Amberpet and several other city areas before reaching the Assembly on February 12, the opening day of the budget session.
He would highlight the problems of the poor and women.
The yatra would also focus on "useless" pink cards as no scommodities were being supplied to the holders.
