Choubey assumes charge as GAIL CMD

NEW DELHI: U. D. Choubey has assumed charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), according to orders issued by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry. Before taking over as CMD, he was holding the position of Director (Marketing), GAIL, since May 2004.
