Sehwag, Munaf may get the nod

Mumbai: Virender Sehwag and Munaf Patel are likely to be selected for the first two one-day internationals to be played against Sri Lanka at Kolkata on February 8 and at Rajkot on February 11.

A 15-member team will be selected at the BCCI office here on Saturday.

The Indian team physio John Gloster and the BCCI's medical advisor Dr. Anant Joshi who had a meeting with Patel on Friday would again evaluate his fitness level on Saturday morning.

"I have asked Gloster to come before the selection committee meeting,'' said Niranjan Shah, Secretary, BCCI. — Special Correspondent
