Siddaramaiah wants MLAs invited to meet

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: Congress leader Siddaramiah on Friday took objection to the decision not to invite legislators from the Cauvery basin districts to the all-party meeting convened by Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy in the evening on working out the strategy to tackle the law and order situation after the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal announces its final award on February 5.

Joining Kannada Chalavali leader Vatal Nagaraj on the issue in the Legislative Assembly, the former Deputy Chief Minister wanted to know why the State Government failed to realise the importance of the legislators from the basin in such a meeting.
