Swamy for under-sea gas pipeline

CHENNAI : The Janata Party has suggested that pipelines be laid under the ocean for the Iran-India gas project.

Opposing the proposed alignment of the pipeline to be laid though Pakistan on the grounds of cost and security, party president Subramanian Swamy said it would be better to get gas by laying the pipeline under the ocean even if it took more time.
