TIRUPATI : After a long silence, Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar Swamy has on Friday, once again joined issue with the TTD for dismantling the ancient `Veyyi kalla mandapam' (thousand pillar mantapam) at Tirumala. He reiterated his demand that the TTD take immediate steps to relocate it exactly at the spot where it existed. Addressing a religious gathering before he set out on a holy trek up the Tirumala f along with thousands of his followers to mark the conclusion of `Venkateswara Sharanagathi Deeksha', he sought to remind the TTD that the High Court had given him the option to approach it again, if the TTD failed to meet his demand.
