Inflation rate rises again to 6.11 p.c.

NEW DELHI: With the surge in prices of food items, including pulses, fruits, vegetables and eggs continuing, the inflation rate based on the Wholesale Price Index has again increased to 6.11 per cent for the week ended January 20 as compared to 5.95 per cent in the previous week.
