NEW DELHI: Sixt Polo and Cavalry (Green) entered the semifinals of the Sawai Man Singh Gold Vase polo tournament here on Friday. Sixt Polo beat Navy-ASC 6-3 while Cavalry (Green) beat Kingfisher First 7-6 in their last league matches. Despite its defeat Kingfisher First also made the round of last four, being the `best loser' in the three pools. Simbhaoli-Sahgal Stud beat Cavalry (Red) by seven and a half goals to six in another league match to qualify for the semifinals. It will meet Cavalry (Green) in one of the semifinals on Saturday. Sixt Polo and Kingfisher First will meet in the other. Simbhaoli-Sahgal Stud which started with a one-and-half-goal handicap advantage, scored through Manupal Godara, Gaurav Sahgal and Angad Singh, all of them scoring two goals each. Uday Kalaan (3), Ravi Rathore (2) and Navjit Sandhu were the Cavalry (Red) scorers. Santiago De Estrada (5), Samir Chaudhary and Vishal Chauhan were the Cavalry (Green) marksmen in the match against Kingfisher First for which Adhiraj Singh (3), Basheer Ali (2) and Hamza Ali were the scorers. Vishal Singh (3), Rakshit Agnihotri (2) and Abhimanyu Pathak scored for Sixt Polo against Navy-ASC. Tarsem Singh (2) and A. P. Singh struck for the losing team. Special Correspondent
