Tax defaulters warned

Kadapa Mayor for action if payment is evaded

KADAPA: Kadapa Municipal Corporation decided to act tough with major tax defaulters and attach their properties if they failed to pay taxes on receipt of notices, Kadapa Mayor P. Ravindranath Reddy warned on Friday.

Addressing revenue bill collectors at a meeting here, he said major property tax defaulters among domestic and commercial establishments owing taxes running into lakhs of rupees would be served notices.
