KOCHI: The KBA Fives had mixed luck in the Thebasco all-Kerala basketball tournament finals at the Sacred Heart School floodlit courts, Thevara. The KBA Fives men defeated Central Excise and Customs 106-91 while its women lost to Rest of Kerala 43-49. In the veterans' section, Kottayam YMCA defeated Powers, Ernakulam, 49-40 and won the title. KBA Fives' R.Manoj was adjudged as the best player in the men's section while Kottayam YMCA's Koshy Abraham won the honour in the veterans' category.
