COIMBATORE: True progress can be achieved only by following Gandhian principles, said K. Kulandaivel, Chancellor, Avinashilingam Deemed University, at Kumaraguru College of Technology on the occasion of `Sarvodaya Day'. Managing Trustee of Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation N. Mahalingam donated 20 volumes of literature on Mahatma Gandhi to representatives of 95 Government higher secondary schools. "Mahatma Gandhi's life and thoughts should serve as a guiding light to the students to excel in their life," he said. In his special address, S. Karmegam, Chief Educational Officer, said, "With increased globalisation, what can make people stand out as true human beings is Gandhian thoughts. "These books on Gandhi will not only help the students, but also academicians and planners."
