HYDERABAD: Revolutionary balladeer Gadar and over 50 artists, singers, writers and others on Friday paid their respects to Telangana martyrs at the Gun Park here, as a prelude to `The Great Cultural March', in support of a separate State. The fortnight-long, 380-km rally covering over two dozen towns in Telangana districts will start at Manuguru in Khammam district on Saturday and end at Bellampalli in Adilabad district. Gadar came to the Gun Park and went around the memorial once, before lighting candles to pay homage to martyrs. He led the others in singing revolutionary songs and shouting slogans in support of Telangana State. Cultural Coordinator Dappu Ramesh said several cultural organisations, irrespective of their political affiliation were joining the `march', united only by their desire for a separate State.
