CHENNAI : `Q QUEST'07, the eighth national conference on quality management, organized by Anna University, AU-TVS Centre for Quality Management and the Students Quality Club will be held from February 22 - 25. It will be a platform for disseminating and exchanging information on quality among academia and practitioners of manufacturing and service sectors in the backdrop of quality management. Q QUEST 07 places thrust on the theme "Sustaining the spirit of quality," organisers say. Q Quest features events such as Quality Circle presentation, Kaizen presentation, debate, cross functional teams, Quizzes and offline events such as case study analysis, essay writing, poster design and caption contest. Another is `Excogitation', an event for the college faculty and students to deliberate their cognitive ideas and contribute them to the pool of quality management. The students can also exhibit their talents in quiz, essay writing and case study analysis. The quiz `Q FACTOR 07' is to be conducted by Giri `pickbrain' Balasubramaniam's Greycaps team.
