A new platform for musicians

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: The Band Association of Chennai (BAC) is an attempt to change the music scene in the city, by giving musicians a platform to display their talent.

Largely the brainchild of Ameeth and Siddhath of local rock band Junkyard Groove, BAC currently has 18 member bands.

The association will put up its first show on February 3 at Gatsby Village, 359/4, Neelankarai, on the East Coast Road. The bands playing are Wreckage Avenue, Buzz Theory and NerveRek. This show is self-sponsored since the association is new in the music circuit. Call 24493886 or 24492993 for details.
