Bank revises interest rates on FCNR deposits

Bangalore: Vijaya Bank has revised interest rates on Foreign Currency Non-Resident (B) deposits.

The revised rates came into effect from February 1, an official press release said here on Friday.

According to the release, the rate of interest for deposits of one year and above but below two years is 5.62 per cent (Great Britain Pound), 5.18 per cent (U.S. Dollar), 3.84 per cent (euro).

For deposits that are for a period of two years and above but below three years, the rates are 5.56 per cent (GBP), 5.10 per cent (USD), 3.97 per cent (euro).

The rate of interest for deposits of three years and above but below four years is 5.51 per cent (GBP), 5.05 per cent (USD), 3.98 (euro). For deposits that are for a period of four years and above but below five years, the interest rates are 5.47 per cent (GBP), 5.05 per cent (USD), 3.98 per cent (euro).

For deposits for five years, the rates are 5.41 per cent (GBP), 5.06 per cent (USD) and 3.99 per cent (euro), the release added.
