Interact Club

Rotary Club of Coimbatore Millenium plans to start a community-based Interact Club for rural students. It will give students training in subjects they weren't strong in. It is aimed exclusively at the Corporation and Government aided school students.

The club had recently organised a traffic seminar for youth to highlight the importance of following traffic rules as part of its Rotary Youth Leadership Award programme, a release said.

The youth leadership awards had been instituted to develop leadership skills in students.

The club had recently honoured Kavidasan, Head, Corporate HRD, of Roots Industries, with the `Thava Thozhil Vithagar Award.'

Carnival

Shivanjali Trust will organise Shivanjali Carnival on February 10 and 11 on its premises on Maruthamalai Road. According to a release, tarots, numerology and flowers will also be available.
