Puducherry: Chief Minister N. Rangasamy paid homage at the statue of the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai at Odiansalai junction here on the occasion of the leader's 38th death anniversary on Saturday. The convener of Puducherry unit of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, R.V. Janakiraman, along with legislators and leaders of DMK's various wings, came in a silent procession and garlanded the statue. The presidium leader of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) here, M. Pandurangam, led a silent procession of volunteers from the party headquarters at Uppalam to Odiansalai to pay homage at the statue. Deputy leader of the AIADMK's legislature party wing Ohm Shakthi Segar, the municipal councillors belonging to the AIADMK and delegates of the Anna Trade Union were among those who garlanded the statue. Among those who paid homage included president of the New Justice Party here S. Ponnurangam, secretary of the MDMK N. Manimaran and a host of representatives of the Dravidar Kazhagam and the Pagutharivaalar Kazhagam.
