Puducherry: Chief Minister. N Rangasamy who is the chairman of the tsunami rehabilitation review committee, held discussions with the members on Friday taking stock of work done in the tsunami-hit villages in Puducherry and Karaikal regions.
Divergent views
An official source told The Hindu on Saturday that divergent views were expressed particularly on the issue of whether the fishermen who lost their houses in the havoc should be given assistance in cash or should the government construct houses and hand them over to the targeted sections of villagers.
