PARIS: Lewis Hamilton set a searing pace for McLaren-Mercedes in Formula One testing on Friday setting the best time of the week at Valencia. The British youngster completed a total of 112 laps with a best time of 1 minute 11.119 seconds, a tenth quicker than Ralf Schumacher's Thursday best in a Toyota. Kimi Raikkonen was second fastest on Friday in a Ferrari with 1m 11.847s, with Poland's Robert Kubica was third quickest in BMW Sauber.
