KARIMNAGAR: Andhra Pradesh Markfed Chairman Ponnam Prabhakar has appealed to all Government teachers to welcome the decision taken by the State Government to set up `Concept schools'. It would provide English medium education to rural students to compete in the competitive world. In a press note here, , he said that the Government had proposed the `Concept schools' to ensure that the rural students get English medium education and were able to compete with private educational institutions. Flaying the teachers' organisations and others for opposing the decision of `Concept schools', he reminded that a total of 3.91-lakh students were studying in Government schools with Telugu as medium of instruction and 3.41-lakh students were studying in private schools in Karimnagar district with English as medium of instruction.
