KARIMNAGAR: TRS president and Karimnagar MP K. Chandrashekhar Rao has said that he would participate in shramdan programme along with college staff, including students demanding adequate funds from the Government for SRR Degree and PG College in Karimnagar town, which is celebrating its valedictory function of the golden jubilee. Mr. Rao visited the college on Sunday and planted a sapling on the college campus. He visited each and every department and inquired about the facilities, furniture and laboratories etc. He said that he would participate in the shramdan to open the eyes of the Government for neglecting the plight of the prestigious Government college in Karimnagar district, which secured NAAC accreditation .
Release funds
Later, he visited Government Women's Degree College and expressed concern over the poor conditions in the college. He assured to release funds from his MPLADS for the development of the college and provide additional facilities to girl students.
