Central team on drought to tour State

HYDERABAD:
An inter-ministerial seven-member Central team to study drought in the State led by A.K. Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Agriculture, will arrive here on February 5 at 8.50 p.m. It will hold initial meetings with officials of various departments on Tuesday.
According to an official release, the first team will undertake a field visit to Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar districts on February 7 and 8 respectively. The second team will go round Anantapur district on February 7 and Chittoor district the next day.
The team will have a wrap-up session with officials and Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on February 9 and leave for New Delhi the next day.
