Iris cards for fire accident victims

HYDERABAD: Those rendered homeless in a fire accident at Singareni Colony of Saidabad mandal two years ago are being issued Iris cards at the colony community hall, according to district Collector R.V. Chandravadan.

Those affected in the accident were issued special identity cards and towards providing houses, the work on Iris cards had been launched.

A total of 248 cards were issued and the process would continue till all of them were covered, he added.
