Cognizant Q4 net income up 21 p.c.

CHENNAI: Nasdaq-listed Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation has reported a 12 per cent increase in revenue in the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2006, at $424.4 million against $377.5 million in the third quarter, according to a release. Net income in the fourth quarter of 2006 under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) was up 21 per cent at $69.5 million against $57.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2005.
