EC censures Minister

New Delhi: The Election Commission on Monday censured Uttarakhand Health Minister Tilak Raj Behar for violating the model code of conduct by placing advertisement in local newspapers on behalf of the State Government in the run up the Assembly polls.

The Commission, which had earlier slapped a notice on Mr. Behar, said it was not satisfied with the reply of the Minister.
