Pipeline work: Reliance warned

Threat to obstruct gas pipeline work of Reliance Energy

HYDERABAD: The Krishna-Godavari Basin Gas Reserve Protection Committee has warned that it will obstruct the gas pipeline work of Reliance Energy if the State is not given its due share of natural gas.

Some 300 members of the committee led by its convenor G. Narayan Reddy, AICC member, completed their first phase of awareness campaign at Zaheerabad on Sunday night.

Mr. Narayan Reddy on Monday said the committee would submit a memorandum to Chief Minister on Tuesday, urging him to insist on fair share for the State.
