Investors' eyes cast on semiconductor policy

HYDERABAD: Investors of the Fab City were awaiting Government's semiconductor policy before deciding the extent of their equity participation in the project, CEO of SemIndia Vinod K. Agarwal said here on Monday.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of `Vision summit' here, Mr. Agarwal, who is principal promoter of Fab City, said the first phase of the project, costing $100 million, had already commenced.

On power front, Mr. Agarwal said that he was looking for dedicated 50 MW back-up from the Government.
