ALAPPUZHA: The Indian Railways and Autokast Ltd. will soon finalise the details of the proposed wagon factory to be started at Autokast, Cherthala, as a joint venture, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan said here on Monday. Speaking to presspersons after visiting the factory on Monday, along with Minister for Finance T.M. Thomas Isaac, Mr. Achuthanandan said he expected that the coming Railway Budget would contain the details of the project. Mr. Isaac said the assessment of the assets of Autokast was about to be completed, and the shareholding pattern of both partners in the venture would be decided after that.
