Man gets notice for allegedly dropping litter

KOCHI: The city Corporation issued a notice to Ronson Sebastian, manager of a private sector bank here, for allegedly dumping waste on the road.

The notice was issued by a health inspector. The Corporation can fine anyone dropping litter in public places and dumping waste on roads, Deputy Mayor C.K. Manisankar said.

Mr. Ronson filed a complaint at the Palarivattom police station on Sunday, charging the Deputy Mayor with throwing waste into his car.

However, Mr. Manisankar said he was attempting to prevent Mr. Ronson from dumping waste near Chakkaraparambu on the National Highway.
