Employment exchange scheme

COIMBATORE: Candidates who have registered with the District Employment Office here and have not renewed the registration between January 2001 and December 2003 can do so now under a special scheme. The Regional Director of the office, A. Latha, said that applicants should submit a copy of the Employment Exchange identity card and a photocopy of it for renewal. They could submit it in person or send a request letter through registered post.

In case the candidate wanted to avail of the assistance given to unemployed youth, he or she could submit the application for renewal and also for assistance.

The last date for renewal is April 30, the release said.
