Alps enters home fashions markets

CHENNAI: Alps Industries, a leading textiles company, has diversified into the home fashions segment with the introduction of `Vista Home Fashions Coordinates'. The company, a pioneer in organic cotton, uses eco-friendly natural dyes for making the new product range, according to Sanjay Gupta, General Manager (marketing). It was growing cotton on 4,000 acres in Uttaranchal and Uttar Pradesh and the plan was to double the area in the next three years, he said in a release.
