Syntel to invest Rs. 180 crore

CHENNAI: Syntel, an IT services and BPO company, is planning to invest Rs. 180 crore during this year. According to a release, the investment will be focused on Mumbai, Pune and Chennai. The two remaining blocks of 2,300 seats at the Pune campus will be completely fitted out and operational in the first quarter. The company will be ready with another 700 plus seats in Chennai in DLF SEZ Park by April. It proposes to construct a 29 acre Chennai campus with a capacity of 5,000 people in Phase I.
