`Demand for nurses increasing'

Hyderabad: There is an increasing demand for nursing professionals in intensive care specialities as emergency and trauma units, operation theatres, cardiac care, etc.

Job opportunities are not confined to India alone but all over the world, says Mohd. Osman, chairman, Apple Hospital, Warangal.

He was addressing a counselling session organised by the IQRA Society for Career Guidance here on Monday. Qualified nursing personnel, he said, constituted the backbone of health services.
