Rs.2.27 crore for PWD works

Puducherry: The Public Works Department here has drawn up a big plan to develop the entire stretch of East Coast Road between Sithananda Swami Temple junction in Karuvadikuppam and Pakkamodayanpet junction in Lawspet at a cost of Rs 2.27 crore. Education Minister M.O.H.F. Shahjahan and R. Viswanathan, MLA, laid the corner stone for the works at Karuvadikuppam. And Rs.93 lakh has been allocated for improving the tar surface of the East Coast Road from Karuvadikuppam to Pakkamodayanpet junction.
