NFR moves up

NEW DELHI: Ranjit Dutta and Manoj Kumar Chauhan fought their way to help North Frontier Railway beat South Eastern Railway 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the 53rd all-India Railway tennis championship at the DLTA Complex here on Tuesday.

The results (quarterfinals): Eastern Railway beat Railway Board 2-0 (Siddhartha Verma bt V. Shankar 6-4, 6-0; Manoj Kumar Sewa bt Sushil Kumar Hooda 6-0, 6-0). North Frontier Railway beat South Eastern Railway 2-0 (Ranjit Dutta bt Ram Kumar 4-6, 6-3, 6-0; Manoj Kumar Chauhan bt Dilip Kumar 3-6, 6-4, 6-3). — Special Correspondent
