GUNTUR : Eleven students of Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) final year of A.S.N. Degree College, Tenali, got selected in Wipro during the recruitment drive conducted on the campus of Arts & Science College, Bapatla on Saturday. Wipro is globally rated as one of the biggest companies in I.T. services and about 350 students from various colleges in Guntur, Krishna and Prakasam districts competed for the placement. A team of 18 Wipro executives headed by its Human Resources manager conducted the recruitment exercise.
Unique opportunity
In addition to their lucrative pay pack that increases every year, they have the unique opportunity of concurrently doing their MS (Software Engineering), a 4-year course of BITS, Pilani, the college correspondent and secretary A. Siva Kumar, said. College principal K. Radhakrishna Murthy, and PG courses director K. Ramchand congratulated the students on getting selected.
