KADAPA: Kadapa Mayor P. Ravindranath Reddy on Tuesday demanded that Telugu Desam Party leaders of the district surrender to the Government large extents of assigned lands in their possession. Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's gesture of surrendering 997 acres should inspire them, he said at a press conference here. He said the Government had sanctioned a SEZ in Kadapa and allotted 50 acres of land for it. The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation would develop the SEZ with private participation.
