Technofest begins with a bang at Berhampur

Basketball tourney, technical papers competition being held

BERHAMPUR: A four-day Technofest-07, the annual sports and cultural meet of the technical and management students of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), began in the city on Monday. It would conclude on Feb. 8. A `technical paper presentation' competition is being held at the campus of the National Institute of Science and Technology and a basketball tournament being conducted as part of the Technofest.

Seventeen teams from various technical institutions are taking part in basketball tourney.
