Held on charge of extortion

BERHAMPUR: An alleged naxal, Subas Sukamajhi, involved in extortion was arrested by police from Baliguda area of Kandhamal district. He was earlier arrested for his alleged links with naxals. However, he was later released on bail on Jan 26. According to the Kandhamal S, Satish Kumar Gajbhiye, after getting released from jail Subas had again started threatening and extorting money from traders .
