Inspectors challenge repatriation

HYDERABAD: A petition was filed in the State Administrative Tribunal here on Tuesday challenging the repatriation of 42 Inspectors of police from the city to their respective zones as part of implementing the Government Order 610. The tribunal would hear the arguments in a day or two. Six of the 42 Inspectors, who filed the petition, said they were not sure if the Government considered their performance at the time of recruitment or during the training for preparing the list of repatriates. "We're not questioning the rationale behind GO 610 but the criteria for deciding us as non-locals," they maintained.
