RTC staff, officers felicitated

HYDERABAD: The APSRTC board of directors has appreciated the services of staff and officers for operating special buses during the week-long Sankranti season.

This was announced here by K. Sanjeeva Reddy, Zonal Advisory Council Chairman, on Monday at a function held at the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station to felicitate 185 employees.

The employees included conductors, drivers, chief inspectors and those dealing with traffic and safety, garage staff, customer relation coordinators, depot, divisional and regional managers.

He said on January 17 alone the corporation recorded revenues of Rs.13.89 crore and Rs. 13.29 crore the next day, shattering records.

Personnel operating in Ranga Reddy region, led by Regional Manager S. Nagaraju were praised for playing a key role in the festival operations.
