HYDERABAD:
Krushi School, an institution run by city-based Association Saikorian, on Tuesday received a grant of $15,000 from Pratt & Whitney, a division of the United Technologies.
David Carter, vice-president, Engineering Module Centres, Pratt & Whitney, handed over a cheque to T.L. Reddy, chief coordinator of the association, in the presence of B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, CMD, Infotech Enterprises.
Mr. Mohan Reddy said while Infotech Enterprises was associated with the project for some time now, it had recently decided on making available 0.5 per cent of the net profit towards their corporate social responsibility.
Mr. T.L. Reddy said the grant would be used to improve infrastructure in 20 adopted schools, impacting 6,000 children.
