CHENNAI: A national conference on "Document and Knowledge Management" will be organised here on February 28 by the IEEE Computer Society Madras Chapter and the Computer Society of India, Chennai chapter, along with Rajalakshmi Engineering College near Chennai.

The conference targets faculty members of computer science and engineering in engineering colleges and research scholars working in areas such as document and knowledge management and professionals interested in database and knowledge-based technologies; knowledge management; knowledge acquisition; categorisation and clustering; document storage techniques; multilinguality; multimodality; indexing and retrieval; NLP techniques; text mining; ontology; document visualisation; document asset management; multimedia streaming; real time application on document management and document processing methods.
