Corrections and Clarifications

* In a report "Jayawardene on song" ("Sport", February 5, 2007), it was stated that Mahela Jayawardene has not opened in 140 tests and 215 One-Day Internationals. It should have been 140 innings.

* In a football report "Man U blanks Tottenham" ("Sport", February 6, 2007), the Barcelona-Osasuna match was held at Osasuna, and not Milan as published.

* The caption of the accompanying photograph in a report "Roger Federer — immune to the laws of sport" ("Sport", February 1, 2007) was: "Genteel Genius: In a top-flight sporting world where aggression and pretensions are recipe for adulation, an unaffected Roger Federer's easy manner offers an amazing aberration." "Aberration" means "a departure from what is normal or accepted or regarded as right, or a mental or a moral lapse". A better word may have been "amazing contrast".
