IT IS time for another edition of the Education UK exhibition in the city. This time, the fair will be held on February 15 and 16 at the Taj Residency from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Students can meet U.K. representatives from more than 60 institutions at the exhibition. Students can attend seminars on various topics that will help them understand the admission procedure and requirements for studying in the U.K. Over 23,000 Indian students are pursuing various courses in the U.K., and this number is growing at the rate of 18 per cent a year. The fair will feature seminars on postgraduate courses, biotechnology, alumni interaction, student visas and Working- in-Scotland-Fresh Talent Scheme. Among the participating institutions will be the Universities of Abertay Dundee, Aston, Birmingham, Bradford, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Conventry, De Montford, East Anglia, Essex, Glasgow, Greenwich, Hertfordshire, Kent, Kingston, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool John Moores, Manchester, Middlesex, Northampton, Northumbria, Nottingham Trent, Stirling, Southampton, Strathclyde, Sunderland, Surrey, Teesside, Ulster, Wales, Warwick, Westminster and Worcester.
