THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Over 300 titles covering a range of subjects from self-development to Shakespearean plays are on display at an exhibition of CDs now on at the British Library here. The exhibition will conclude on February 10. The CDs on self-development include those that deal with memory skills, self-confidence, the power of positive thinking and work-life balance. In this section there is also a `10-minute life coach.' For those wishing to tone up their English language skills, the exhibition offers such CDs as `Journeys in English' from the BBC, `English in Mind,' `Skills in English,' various levels of `English Know How,' CDs offering help for writing the various English language examinations of Cambridge University and a CD that deals with `English for Telephoning.' The literature section of the exhibition includes CDs on poems, works of fiction and those containing plays of Shakespeare such as Much Ado About Nothing, Hamlet, King Lear and Romeo and Juliet. Some plays are productions of the BBC's Radio 3. Lovers of poetry might want to take note of the CD titled `Essential Poems to Fall in Love With' or perhaps the one that deals with Milton's `Paradise Regained.' The exhibition also sports CDs on travel and 3-D design, among others. After the exhibition is over these CDs will be added to the Library's collection.
